Switch Library "Format" to .ai 2020

I'm working for a design company and we're using the cloud libraries a lot to sort our assets and make them available for all employees.

Since the Upgrade to CC 2020 (Illustrator 24), managing our cloud libraries has become very painful and slowed down - for every time somebody tries to add or modify an asset, a requester pops up (very much the same like when saving a document that was created some while ago with an older version of Illustrator), asking, if the editor really wishes to save the asset "in an older format", indicating to the "problems" connected to that procedure... ;-6

I didn't find out any way how to avoid this annoying pop ups – even when creating a completely new library, adding to it assets from a new, blank document created under AI 2020 (and even saved it as a AI 2020 document without any further dependencies to elder formats) still results in the same boring, useless & pain-in-the-ass pop ups, when adding or modifying assets to them.

We're using these libraries a lot; in fact they've become our replacement for any server based solutions (to store our logos, branding icons, banners etc.).

Has anyone experienced the same application behavior and probably any idea (maybe even somebody appointed from Adobe??) how to fix this daily annoyance?

Any tips and hints greatly appreciated, thank you in advance! 🙂
