Dear developers, it would be useful to integrate the symmetry drawing function in Illustrator for iPad, which is already present in Fresco as shown in the attached screenshot, thank you.

You can draw something, then apply repeat, then go into isolation mode and edit it: https://youtube.com/shorts/PopHhXukV-Q?feature=share

You could also apply a second repeat to it and still edit the base artwork.

Hi Monika, I tried this solution but it's less practical than the one available in Adobe Fresco or Procreate.

Thank you!!

Hi @defaultnx2zr5xia018

Thanks for reaching out! The symmetry drawing option is already available in Illustrator for iPad. You can find it under the Repeat panel on the right-hand side of the screen.

Please give it a try and let me know how it goes.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi Abhishek,

I already know Repeat tool, but it doesn't draw symmetry in real time like it can be done with Photoshop or Fresco. Repeat tool speculates a path or shape already drawn.

I hope I have explained my request correctly,

Thank you.
