Sync and saving advice

Hi, is there a way to save photoshop and illustrator files to Creative cloud but also sync them to my Mac and an external harddrive at the same time?  I don't want to have three different versions, I'd rather have one that syncs across all save areas.

I just want to ensure I have backups and don't overload my mac.  Is creative cloud the best cloud to save them in for this?  I don't work across different devices or need to share them to anyone within CC.

Are there any particualar external harddrives anyone recommends or general methods of backing up and simple workflows?

Thank you

I'm not aware of any functions within Illustrator and Photoshop that will let you save files to both cloud locations and an external hard drive simultaneously.

The Autosavior plugin from Astute Graphics may be able to help with Illustrator files. The plugin is included with Astute Graphics' suite of Illustrator plugins. The Autosavior is one of a few plugins you can keep for free by doing a trial run of the Astute Graphics plugin suite.
