System Compatibility Error - Nvidia

When I start Illustrator, it shows a system compatibility error: unsupported video driver. My illustrator is updated. And now I can't export my work as PNG or JPG.

Does anyone know how to fix that?

Hi @lauranoori,

Thanks for reaching out and for sharing the screenshot. The error you're seeing is related to the NVIDIA GeForce MX130 driver, which Illustrator is flagging as unsupported. This can sometimes cause issues like export failures, lag, or performance instability.

To resolve this, please update your GPU driver directly from the NVIDIA website by downloading the latest Studio Driver. After installing the update, restart your system and then relaunch Illustrator to see if the warning goes away and if you're able to export as PNG or JPG again.

If the issue persists even after updating the driver, try disabling GPU Performance from Illustrator's Preferences under the Performance section, then restart the app and attempt the export once more.

Also, kindly confirm which version of Illustrator and Windows you're currently using so I can check further on compatibility.

In the meantime, I'd also recommend checking this similar discussion thread, which may offer some additional insights: https://adobe.ly/45ey7vV

Let me know how it goes.
