Templates do not open in Illustrator

Hello, I am participating in a design competition and I downloaded the cup templates. At first it responded and opened in Illustrator, but now it does not respond at all. What is the problem and how can I solve it?

    Have you ever opened a PSD file in Illustrator and seen the Photoshop Import Options dialog box? What happens when you try to open it?
