TEXT BOX OUTLINE TURNED WHITE & NOW CANNOT SEE

Is there any way to change the outline color of the text box in Illustrator and InDesign? Not sure how I did this, but at some point the boxes have been turned white versus the standard blue so now I cannot see a darn thing when I am attempting to format and place text. Below are two screenshots, in the first the text box is indeed selected but impossible to see. The second, I put the text box on a black background to make it easier to identify.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
