Text Columns not flowing correctly

Question

I've created a layout with two text columns linked together. When the text flows from the first column to the second, for some reason, Illustrator is treating the last line of the first column as the end of the paragraph and then indents the first line of the second column. Even though it is actually a continuation of the same sentence. How do I fix this?

Hello @glenk83749593,Would you mind confirming the version of Illustrator installed and sharing a small screen recording of your exact workflow and the problem so I can better assist you?Also, try resetting Illustrator's preferences as described in this article (https://adobe.ly/3Xh0hSQ) and share your observations. Disclaimer: Please note that renaming preferences folders will remove all the custom settings, and Illustrator will launch with default settings.
