Text Direction not showing in Illustrator 28.3

Hi, I have some arabic text for a client and have previously used ScribeDOOR to correctly show the text. However I have seen that Illustrator now supports arabic & hebrew fonts. However, having followed the instructions (https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/illustrator/using/arabic-hebrew.html) the Text Direction options do not appear in the Paragraph panel. Neither does the Digit Types on the Character panel. Is there something I am missing?

Hi, yes I have already been through that guide and installed the Arabic version. Still does not work for me.
