Text Graphic Style sometimes not appearing properly

Has anyone ever encountered an issue like this where the text graphic style appear properly at first like this (where it's layered and has this light stroke outline)

but in some cases they start to appear like this, it's as if I can see the raw shapes of the font
(this is in Screen blending mode)


it's doesn't appear to be blending mode issue too cause it looked like this before:

For context, the one with issue happens on a different device and user. We have the same specs and build and Illustrator version but we were thinking if maybe we have settings/preferences that are different which we might need to align on.
