Text Import Option Error

Hi. I was working on this vfile when we had a power outage and my PC shut down. When we got power again I turned on the PC and the file gave me a text import option dialog box. When opening Instagram I can see the design in my recently opened section, but when opening it, it just shows a blank doc. Please help!

Sorry for the delayed response. This error generally pops up when the file has gotten corrupted or opened directly from a network drive/ folder.

Power outage while working on a file or while saving almost always ruins the file.

That's why you need to make backups. Lots of them. A larger or additional harddrive is always cheaper than having to rebuild a file. Illustrator's recovery function is not a backup and should not be used as such.

 

As for your corrupt file, maybe @Anshul_Saini can help.
