Text in Illustrator 2026 scales completely wrong.

Hello,

 

There are a lot of issues with illustrator at the moment. Inpossible to select opbjects, glitchy as hell. But let's talk about a different problem! 

Check the video attached. These are 4 text elements connected, with a yellow element in the back. If I push SHIFT + OPTION + COMMAND, I should scale everything inproportion, from the center.

But, nope. Text just got scaled around completely wrong.

I can't work with illustrator anymore if it keep being this bad. Nothing seem to work properly.

Thanks for reaching out. Can you try converting your text to Point Type and then scaling to see if it helps? For the other problems, could you share a brief description of your exact workflow, the version of the OS/Illustrator installed, along with a screen recording of the problem, so we can better assist you?
