Text is too large or too small

Hey,

My text in Adobe Illustrator seems to be off in its size. For example, the text size 0.004 but it is big enough to read. But when I upsize it once it goes to 0.125 and is bigger than my document. It happened all of a sudden and I can't figure out how to get the size to be normal.

    Megan, I seriously doubt that you're a dope. I think you're just working at a zoom level of 8500%, or even 64,000%. Check the bottom left corner of your window and see what the percentage is, and change it to something much closer to 100%, and use a font size that's not way down in tiny decimals. I think you'll find it's much more reasonable.

    And don't hesitate to ask more questions.

    Hey everyone!!

    Thank You all so so much for your suggestions above , I really appreciate it :-). Unfortunately, after trying several things my text size is still being all wonky. Maybe it's me because I have never used this software  before and I am just a dope  lol.

    Have you double checked your document size? Are you sure that you haven't acidently set the document size to something very small without realizing it? That might account for the text size seemingly large size.
