Text on a path or ....... ?

I am reworking a logo.  I saw this Back To Nature logo recently and thought that the general idea might work well for my logo.

The text for my project is PALM COVE VISION.  Is this a case for text on a path or is there a better way to approach this?

This is an easy job for Envelope Distort.

Treat each line separately. Scale the top one so it's deeper, then select each part and apply Envelope Distort as follows:

 

I set a value of 30% and -30% in mine, but you can make it any value that works for you. e.g. 25% and -25%. If the numbers are the same, then the gap will be even.
