Text outline discrepancy between Illustrator and InDesign

Question

Hello,I am observing some differences when I create outlines for the same text (same font, size, baseline alignment "ascent", and text content) in Illustrator and InDesign. They don't match in size and in position. The difference is minute (about 0.01 pt in a 14 pt font size) but I am expecting no difference at all.Why is that? Is there a parameter that I may be missing that should be set identically in Illustrator and InDesign?Perhaps I should also post this in the InDesign forum!This if for CS4.Thanks.

Different code, different algorithms. They may use hints in different ways, define insidedness in different ways, or just round numbers on different scales. Since this is a tiny fraction of what the eye can see, I wouldn't worry about it, personally.
