Is there a Script to Convert SELECTED Text To Outlines then Unite or just Unite Selected Text in 1 sweep?

    I tried recording an action by Create Outlines then Unite but it doesn't record.


    Let me retract that! My action does work.

    By 'selected text' do you mean text objects or text highlighted within text objects with the type cursor?

    can't unite a text object with a shape nor unite several selected text objects. Can be done but a lengthy process imo
