Text Wrap Hyperlink not working in Illustrator

Hi, I have a document layout with long URLs that are text wrapped. The first line of the URL is clickable as a pdf but not the rest of the URL. Not sure why it's doing that and I can't find any online support to resolve it. Most programs would hyperlink the entire URL even if it's wrapped.  Is there a way to fix this?  Thanks

    Illustrator doesn't create  links. It's probably Acrobat that made it.

    I'm using illustrator 24.1 and all the URLs are hyperlinks and clickable in preview. I haven't edited them in acrobat.
