Text wrap not working

Hi All!

I'm following instructions to wrap text - the object is above the text and both are selected but when I click the wrap text option nothing happens. The wrap boundary shows if you click wrap options but text is most definitely not wrapped to shape. Any ideas?

I'm also having issues with text wrap, I'm sure this hasn't happened before as I'm following the normal process to make it work.

Text is an area text?

Please show us the layers panel.

Please select the text object with the selection tool
