Texts missing after saving ai file

So my problem is,

The previews look alright, but mosts texts are missing when I load 2 different illustrator files.

the textboxes are still there but nothing shows and I don't know what happened or how I can fix this problem.

does anyone know what to do?

I found out the problem must be version of illustrator.

I was using the CAD worksspace in which has illustator, on a managed laptop.

Somehow the app dissapeared and they added illustrator to the normal workspace, but somehow that is a problem with versions

Does Illustrator bring up a missing fonts dialog box when opening the files? Once the files are opened is it possible to change the text objects to a different typeface? If the fonts in the text objects are changed does the lettering become visible?

 

I wonder if there could be a technical problem with the specific fonts being used. Like any software, fonts can be afflicted with bugs.

    I installed the fonts for this version of illustrator as well.

    Looks like my ICT people did not solve my illustrator problem at all, (see my other post above)

    I made an appointment with them to fix it,

    Thanks for reaching out! That does sound odd. To help us get a clearer picture, could you please confirm the version of Illustrator you're using and the details of your operating system? Also, let us know if this issue is specific to just these two files or if it happens with other files as well.

    Is there any difference in how or where the two files were saved, like one being saved on a network drive or external device and the other locally? 

    If possible, please share a small screen recording or screenshot that shows how the files look when opened versus how they appear in the preview. And if you’re comfortable sharing the files for testing, feel free to upload them via any public cloud service like Google Drive or Dropbox and send us a downloadable link. If the files are confidential, you can send them via DM here on the community.
