The current layer changes, when "sAIPath->SetPathSegments" is used!

Hello all,

The following setup is used:

• Windows 10
• Adobe Illustrator 27.8.1 (64-bit)
• SDK 2023 (downloaded 14th of August)

I have a document with several layers. On each layer are different art-objects.

Now I select some of these art-objects using the Adobe selection tool.

Every layer where an art-object has been selected is automatically marked with a small colored rectangle in the layer-palette.

When I now use the function sAIPath->SetPathSegments to change the segments of one of those art-objects, the currently selected layer suddenly changes.

The current layer switches to the upmost layer of the marked layers in the layer-palette.

What could cause this behavior and how can I prevent the current layer to change when I use the function sAIPath->SetPathSegments on one of the selected art-objects?
