the file is an unknown format and cannot be opened illustrator

Hello Folks, I've having serious issue for my illustrator file. Last time my illustratoe got crashed causes all temproray files stored in desktop in $$TEMP format. after that my system got freezes. then i deleted manually all temp files and uninstall AI and then reinstall it. 

But my all illustrator files gone too , I've tried wondershare recoverit to find my AI files and i recover it finally. 

Now when i'm open it on my illustrator it says an error " the file is an unknown format and cannot be opened illustrator" even it's has file size of 52,306 KB.

Version of Adobe Illustartor- 27.9

RAM-8GB

Windows-10 

Processor- I5 9400F 

 

Please help me that design took me an 12 hour to do that.

    52 KB doesn't look like a file that could be recovered.

     

    Always save your files early. Save often. Save different versions. Turn on Time Machine (if you have Windows, get something similar). Make sure that you have backups. Illutrator can save you the last some minutes of work in case it crashes, but do not ever rely on the recovery function for more than the last 20 minutes. That's not what's been made for. And surely it is not an autosave function.
