The handle is not visible

The handle is not visible when using the pen tool. Edge is on but invisible.
I tried to press Ctrl+H, but it doesn't work. can I know the reason?

Can you post a screen capture? What do you mean with “the handle”. The only occurance I could think of that you don’t see either of them is if in the View Menu “Hide Edges” is activated AND the path you drew has “White” as a stroke color (on a white background). Does your path show up in Outline Mode (CMD/CTRL + Y)?
