The maximum area allowed for use by AI

The maximum area allowed for use by AI is approximately 227 inches square. There is no way to increase this. If you need a larger work area, you will need to work at scale.

Why? What is the limitation that is stopping us from getting this in an update?

The update you are asking for has already happened. Have you even tried to create a larger document?
