The text kerning keyboard shortcut don't work when I apply text on a path

Illustrator vs 28.0

I use shortcut ALT+ right or left arrow keys to set the kerning but that is not working when the text is

on a path.

I think this is a bug.

That works for me, but I see Cmd Shift Brackets as the shortcut in the Edit Shortcuts panel (which also works). Did you try to restart your machine?
