The Transform Each tool is not working

It doesn't matter if I'm trying to scale one object or multiples. I will select the objects, go to Transform Each, and Illustrator locks. Can't do anything with the file; I have to Force Quit Illustrator. I'm using the most recent version: 28.6.

Did you already reboot the system and reset the preferences?

Does it also happen with very simple objects?

Is it just a certain file? Or does this also happen in new files?
