I just checked, and a bunch the the effectsplugins no longer work.

Has anyone else seen  this error?

Is there a work around or did I just hose myself by updting to the latest illustrator?

MAC OS 11.1 (Big Sur)

Adding a 'glow' around some letters that I had outlined.

Document is in CMYK mode. I adjusted the raster effects to 32 ppi, but still had a problem.

No, spot color, just a white letter shape with a blurred copy of itself underneath to create a glow effect.

After fighting with it for a few hours, I put it done and continued on with the rest of the work I needed to do. I went back at it later and I reduced the size of the art down to 11" X 17".  That seemed to do the trick.

At 100% size this art was 8'-0" wide.
