Tilling Large format for print

I changed printers recently and they want me to till my own work or they tile it the way they want to. I have a box truck wrap with the sides being 167 inches width by 80 inches height. They can only print 52 inches wide. How can I set my own image up in illustrator at 52 inches with a half inch overlap?

In these cases it is possible to work in scale. You can work at a certain rate by half working to print the desired size during printing.

Illustrator can print large parts of work into common print areas in certain parts.

Maybe by overlapping 52 inch artboards and saving as .ai with the Save Each Artboard to a Separate File option checked?
