Toolbar Layout

Question

While playing around with the format of the toolbar, I accidentally changed the layout into a two-column format with all of the tool groups expanded within those two columns. For instance: the Pen, Add Anchor Point, Delete Anchor Point, and the Anchor Point tools were in a box within that column (NOT A FLYOUT BOX), so I didn’t have to click/hold on the pen tool to expand that group to select one of those tools. They were already displayed within those two columns. As were all of the tool groups. However, that layout disappeared after closing Illustrator and opening it again. I cannot remember how I arrived at that layout.
Can anyone show me how to recreate that?

Go to the Window>Toolbars menu and select Getting Started. You can also make your own custom toolbar.

You can double click the top of the toolbar tab to make it one column and save a new workspace with that state.
