Trace writings and dial

Good morning,

i'd like to obtain a vectorial image of a watch dial (attached):
- both words (FELCA) also (Seascoper III 20 atu).

- dial in white print measure 28mm

I'm able to do it in Photoshop, but how can I do using Illustrator? In that way I can export it in a laser cutting software i use without losing resolution.

Try it, and see if you like the result. Play around with advanced settings.

It's vector, so no problem with resolution and the outside edge will be your cut line.

(You may want to take out/cover the text and retype).

Or grab art from stock and modify:

The Image Trace panel does the autotrace. But I don't think you will get good quylity with it. You might need to do this manually.

i'd use the pen tool and do it manually. How can I export only the path later?

Do you have any suggestion for the notches of minutes? I'd like to draw them with a pattern command.

For exporting check out the Asset export panel.

For drawing the notches, check out the Step and repeat method.
