hi, I created a color library in illustrator CC and I want to use it, but so that the colors are signed with the appropriate names I gave. after transferring them to swatches, the color names change to cmyk descriptions. Can I transfer colors from the library to swatches while keeping the names?

I want the colors in the samples to have names, something like pantone colors. Is there any automatic way to transfer color names from the library to swatches? I know there is an option to edit the name in the samples but this is doing the same twice ...

You can create (multiple) objects filled with your named colors and drag them to the CC library.

If you Alt-Drag them into another document they will be added to the Swatches and you can delete the dragged objects.
