Transform tool not working as expected

Question

After upgrading to 26.5 the transform tool's gone haywire. Can't drag a corner of a shape to resize. Hovering over a drag point shows the wrong arrow tooltip. Then when I drag, the shape redraws from that point (see the video).

Anybody else having this problem? On windows 11 on a Dell LTW10-100 i7.

Sorry to hear about this experience. I would request you try resetting Illustrator's preferences by following the steps shared in this article (https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/kb/troubleshoot-preference-issues.html) and sharing your observations.
Disclaimer: Please note that resetting preferences will remove all custom settings, and Illustrator will launch with the defaults. You may take a backup of these settings from the location mentioned in the article.

Also, try rebooting your computer in Safe Mode and running Illustrator to check if it helps.
