I making an upside down triangle in premiere. I want the curve of the top 2 corners to differ from the curve of the bottom. However, after I edit the curve of the top 2 (pressing A), the option to edit them disappears after that (little circle point on the inside). I can only edit the bottom corner. I need to know how to alway be able to individually edit the other two corners beyond a single edit.

Live corners are a property of "Shapes." With your triangle selected, choose Object > Shape...

If Convert to Shape is available, choose that, then tap the A key and the corner widgets should reappear. If only Expand Shape is available, then your triangle is already a Shape and just tapping A should wake up the corner widgets.

To edit an individual corner, click/release its widget with the Direct Select tool (A), then click it again and drag.

Apparently, once you alter the width of the object itself, after curving the upper two corners initially, the options to curve those corners are removed. Anyway around that? I tried to click on the object and and do the object>shape, but the only option is convert to rectangle and that even if selected, it us unable to process.

Here's what it looks like when clicked on and pressed "A." As you can see, only the bottom curve option is available:

What happens when you drag it?

A screenshot or a sketch might help!

    *In illustrator, not premiere.
