Trim and Art box data changing

HI, after creating Pdfs for print output when checked in Acrobat the trim and artbox data is different than the original artwork spec created in Ai.. it also adds size to artboard.. You can resave the correct measurements in the pdf but when you open it again, it then changes again completly?
has anyone else had issues?
