Trouble using 3d effects

Question

Whenever I try to use 3d effects, it will pop up 'not enough memory or RAM to process' messages and the whole Illustrator (2018) will just shut down unexpectedly.

I tried reopen the program and also restarting my laptop. How to fix this problem? Or is there another way to make a circle look like this? Edit: Ok. now my PS also has this problem, can't even save a file.

Impossible to know without actual system info and details like the document DPI. That, and of course a simple disc can easily be drawn using normal circles, transforming them in perspective and then intersecting them with Pathfinders, if that's even necessary. It's all an illusion, either way.
