Trouble with 3D Revlove

Up until recently this feature has been working fine, I am designing floor lamps and using 3D revolve to turn the sketch into a simple 3D render,

however when revolve is applied, the outcome is a smaller and often repeated version of the sketch used (see image attached).

Im not sure if this is because the shape is tall and narrow? its the same outcome if i add for example a base or lampshade on top.

Any advice is much appreciated thank you 🙂

Can you share the RGB file (or an example file?). I can't reproduce it in an RGB file.

Hi @defaultj885tol0yum2,

We are sorry for the trouble. The product team is aware of this and currently working on a fix.

In the meantime, as a temporary solution, try to keep the object size below 7500x7500 pixels in RGB and 1960x1960 pixels in CMYK while working in real-time. In some cases, this goes away after rendering the object.

I hope this helps!

Thanks,
Anshul Saini

There is a bug in CMYK documents at the moment where 3D effects have a strange repeat on large objects:
