Question

Trying to blend gradient freeform points boxes together

Hello, I would like to combine all of these gradient freeform points into one page to elimate the square borders which ruin the design. Is this possible? What can I do to blend these all togather? Any other processes that are close enough which could work aswell to help acheive this? Any tips would help!

Because you have a complex gradient, the design is more complex to create. However, you could try this method:

Create one gradient tile, for example:

Select the tile and Object > Transform > Reflect. Reflect horizontal and click Copy. Align the two tiles.

Select both tiles and Object > Transform > Reflect. This time choose Vertical and click Copy. Align the tiles.

Select all 4 tiles and choose Object > Pattern > Make. Click OK to add the pattern to Swatches.

If necessary, adjust the width and height so that the pattern repeats smoothly.

Then click Done in the upper left.

Your pattern will appear in the Swatches panel and you can use it to fill any shape that you create.

You could make the freeform gradient into a pattern. But in order for the patterm to repeat smoothly, the edges must be carefully designed. I didn't see any tutorials for creating repeating patterns using a gradient like yours, but this one teaches the general principle. It doesn't matter what you put on the inside of the square, but the edges must match perfectly.

Using freeform gradients to create a seamless pattern is very difficult (read: impossible). You may try the mirror method as described by Barbara or forget the pattern method and scale the freeform gradient object until it fits the artboard.
