Type orientation

Any new type begins in vertical orientation.

Tried every known setting ... no luck.

Frankly, 27.4 is acting strangely in multiple ways.

Ideas?

OPen preferences > General.

There is an angle in there, which should be 0°. Is it?

In addition, keyboard directional arrows are switched (left is up, up is down, etc.)

Copy and paste changes pasted orientation.

Beginning to think this may be a defective version.
