Type with effect around a radius path... still no solution ;-(

Hi, please correct me if I'm misunderstanding your goal here. 

You have some copy with appearances, and those appearances need to render when you paste that copy into a circle? 
I'm not sure that exact process is possible. The shape you apply the Type on Path tool to will always lose fill and stroke, and any appearances applied to that shape will not render either. You will have to create a duplicate shape in the style you desire as a layer beneath the type.

Your initial one can be built as a graphic style that works in general no matter how long the text. This cannot work for type on path. You have another thread in which we proposed your options. Did those not work for you?
