Hi,

I have been trying to add Glyphs to the text on illustraton on my macbook pro. Have tried multiple times and different ways to add the glyphs, but I am unable to add them. Any suggestions of can this work? I don't know if it's the bug or the font problem.

I know this doesn't help but I'm also not experiencing the issue; Double-clicking glyphs is working properly for me using the same font you have used (Mac 28.6).

Longshot: have you recently changed your mouse's double-click reaction speed?

Can you please give us some details of what you are trying to do?

Are you trying to add the glyphs from the Glyphs panel into your text?

Or are you trying to add graphics into your text?

Hi Monika,

I've been trying to add Glyphs from the glyphs panel in my text. Glyphs like characters like: à ë ū, etc.

Can you please describe exactly what you are doing step by step, show screenshots and tell us exactly what does not work?

Which font is it?

Which language is the text?

@Navani Soni try this....

  1.  Open Illustrator Preferences (Command K - MAC) (Control K - PC). Scroll to Type. Enable Missing Glyph Protection. It would substitute missing glyph fonts
  2. Make sure you are using the Type Tool for adding Glyphs to your Illustrator files
  3. Not all fonts have a wide selection of glyphs. Symbol or Wingdings have a wider variety of glyphs

Hi,

I tried this, but it's still not working.
