Unable to create a New Document in Adobe Illustrator

Hi there, I have not opened AI for a while and I am now unable to create a new document as the screen does not show any option for a blank custom document. The screen now only shows template options and the 'Creat' button is not highlighted. Please see the screenshot attached. Many thanks for your help in advance!

As a workaround you can try if in Preferences checking "Use legacy "File New" interface" helps.

Hi there, me again, just to add, the previous New Document Dialogue box looked like this: but I cannot seem to accesss the screen any more, see the previous screenshot. Thanks
