Unable to force matching on one screen of the Wacom tablet when using a dual-screen system in Illust

Since the Illustrator 2026 update, it has been impossible to set up one of the two monitors on a dual-screen system to work with a Wacom tablet.

This worked perfectly with previous versions, but is no longer the case.

When I force my Wacom driver to set Illustrator 2026 to only one of the two screens, the pointer still has access to the second screen when I am using the Illustrator interface.

Is Adobe planning to release a fix?

Correct answer

Hello @47412805,

Our team has tried replicating this behavior on their end but were unable to do so. Would it be possible for you to have a debug session with us? If yes, please share your Adobe email ID, Phone number with country code, preferred time & day for the meeting, your timezone, and country & state you live in over the DM only.

I look forward to your response.

Hello, thank you for your feedback.

I was able to resolve the issue by completely uninstalling Illustrator 26 and the Wacom driver, then resetting the tablet.

Thank you again for your help.

Hi ga-pb-qcpostprod_2805

Thank you for reaching out and sorry for the trouble. Would you mind telling us the exact version of Illustrator 2026 installed on your machine and the details of your Mac operating system? Please ensure that the Wacom drivers are up to date.

What is the connection type of the monitor? Are you using any docking station?

Meanwhile, we will also check with the team.

Thanks,

Harshika

Thanks for your feedback

I am using Illustrator version 30.1.0, but the bug was already present on the day version 30.0 was released. However, I do not have this issue with Photoshop 2026 or Illustrator 2025.

I am using a MacBook Pro M4 running Sequoia 15.7.3 with the latest Wacom driver for my PTH-660: 6.4.12-3

The monitor is an Eizo CG2700X connected via USB-C directly to the Mac.

I tested the same Wacom tablet with Illustrator 2026 on another Mac and the problem is the same.

Thanks
