Unable to open some Illustrator CS5 files (mac) with Illustrator CC 2017

I have issue with some files CS5 in CC2017, when I want to open it, Illustrator open the window but the artwork never appears... Help...

    Try look outside of artboard for your artwork. Cmd-A, if select something (even if not visible), move it to artboard using Transform palette.

    Hi Thierry,

    Where are these files saved? What is the size of the old file? Just want to make sure that the files are not blank or corrupt. If possible, please share a sample file so that we can test at our end.

    Hi Om,

    the file is text and 2 .tiff in black. 3.3 Mo.
    I have deleted the Illustrator prefs and the artwork appears but Illustrator is calculating non stop...

    I can not share on the forum, they are confidential files...
