Unable to resize or rotate pattern fills with shortcut keys - Using PC

Hey all,

Since Adobe doing their latest updates on Adobe Illustrator i've not been able to use the shortcut keys

to resize or rotate pattern fills... I use PC...the default shortcut keys I use are the Acute ( ` ) Key (Not the Tilde Key) along with the shift key to maintain proportions. (for some reason the Tilde key does not work)..

Does anyone else have this issue? And does anyone have a fix for it? As i have tried most things and still doesnt work...so i have to go back to using version 27.9 in order to use the shortcuts for resizing pattern fills.

Any help would be greatly appricated..

Thank you for reporting the issue. I tested resizing and rotating pattern fills on Windows using the Acute key in the latest version of Illustrator, and it is working correctly for me on both resizing the pattern within the frame and when rotating.

Could you please confirm if you are using version 29.8.1? If you are, I recommend trying to reset Illustrator preferences after creating a backup, following the steps here: Reset Illustrator Preferences.

Additionally, it would be very helpful if you could share a screen recording demonstrating the exact behavior you are seeing. Could you also confirm if this issue happens with a particular document or with all documents?
