Sorry to hear you’re running into this, I understand how frustrating it must be. I’d recommend trying the suggestion shared by the expert and also granting full disk access to Illustrator. To do this, go to the Apple menu and open System Settings, then navigate to Privacy & Security and select Full Disk Access. Click the lock icon to make changes, add Adobe Illustrator to the list, and ensure it is enabled. Once done, relaunch Illustrator and try saving again.

Additionally, could you please confirm if this happens consistently with every new file or only with certain files? It would also help to know where you are trying to save the file, whether it is a local drive, external drive, network location, or cloud storage.
