Unable to toggle between open documents in Illustrator

Is anyone else having this (admittedly not huge) problem? Since updating to Illustrator 2023, I can no longer toggle between open illustrator documents using using Command + ~ (I'm on a Mac). I noticed that this funtion disappeared from Photoshop awhile back, but I was still able to do it in Illustrator and InDesign until very recently.

Again, it's not an unworkable problem, but it does slow down my workflow, so any help would be great. Thank you!

Thanks, Steve. I had already restarted a couple of times, but I ended up solving the problem. It was Ventura's new Stage Manager setting. When I turned that off, the toggle came back. Thank you for your help!

I just opened up two files in Illustrator 2023 on my MacBook Pro 2015 running Monterey 12.6.1.

I also have Illustrator 2023 on my MacBook Pro 2021 with an Apple M1 Pro chip and running Ventura and tried there.

Both computers can switch documents with Command + ~.

Try these methods to solve the problem: (1) Reboot your computer (2) Restore Ilustrator Preferences (either use the Reset Preferences button in General preferences or hold down Cmd + Shift + Option when launching

Thanks, I had the same issue but when turned off stage manager it worked. Is there away to use both of them? I liked stage manager also. 🙂
