Unable to use Ctrl +S and Ctrl + N in Illustrator

Hello everyone

am i the only one who can't use Ctrl+S and Ctrl+N

they suddenly stopped working even when i restart it

After restarting the Computer the problem was gone.

I can open a new sheet now.

I have the ctrl-N problem, too. ctrl-S is working.
Running on Win11, AI-version 29.8.1
A few minutes ago I uninstalled and installed AI again.
ctrl-N is still not working.
This problem lasts since several days. The computer was restartet at least once a day.

I'm sorry to hear you're having similar trouble with Illustrator. Would you mind running Illustrator in Safe Mode (Windows / macOS) and under a different administrator account (Windows / macOS) to check if it helps?

Can you save and create a new file through menu options? Are you experiencing the issue with shortcuts only?
