I have recently transferred my illustrator software onto a new Mac and although the software runs fine every-time I try and save my work it times out and I get this error message...

Adobe illustrator CS5 quit unexpectedly

Click Reopen to open the application again. Click Report to see more detailed information and send a report to Apple.

Please help.

there is a possible answer in this thread:

but you may also be out of luck with CS5 on a new Mac.

also, i would be tempted to try the workarounds described here to reinstall and see if that resolves it:
