So lemme get this straight. In the latest Photoshop, you no longer have to hold the Shift key for uniform scaling. But in Illustrator, you do?

Logical? Or stupid?

    Hi there,

Both the applications are totally different, however, if you want you can make suggestions here: Adobe Illustrator Feedback.

This is the best way of communicating with the Engineering and Product Management teams regarding issues and suggestions so they can be implemented in future releases.

But sometimes it just helps to voice frustrations where there may be a response. Yes, AI and PSD are "totally different" but they are part of the same "Creative Cloud" suite of applications and should share some commonality.

Such As: When jumped into a Symbol or Group in AI the "Esc" key will jump back to the Artboard and save any changes. But in PSD the same key CANCELS the current action (such as Puppet Warp mode) and DOES NOT save changes. Logical? or not too Bright?

    Hi Ray,

I completely agree with you, however, there are a different set of people who are working on the development of these products.

If you like some feature in Photoshop, then you can share a suggestion on the UserVoice link(shared above). Similarly, if you like something in Illustrator, you can share it on Photoshop Family Customer Community.

    Regards,

    Srishti

Illustrator users don't have to hold a cup of coffee 24/7, so this makes a lot of sense.
