Units only showing points in illustrator 2022

Using AI 2022 and no matter what I do units only show up in points, and it is awful!!!! Has anyone else faced this? So so frustrating. I dont want fancy bells and whilstles, I want the basics to work!

Laura,

And you can change it in the open document through the Document Setup under File og by RightClicking (one of) the ruler(s).

Units are set by the document profile that is used to create a new document.
