Unknown error pops up when I try to save file in Illustrator

Hey there I was hoping someone would be able to help me figure out why my file wont save. I have tried copying and pasting my work into a seperate file and attempted to save it under a different name, but I still ran into the same problem. If anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated!

Which version?

Which system?

Where are you trying to save the file?

Is that a new file or an old file?

How are you saving it? Which options?

 

Is a printer connected? Illustrator looks for a printer when saving and when opening files. If it can't find one, it might act up.
