Question

upgrading plug in to Pantone Connect premium

I tried to use the free version of the Pantone Connect which we all know is no good, so I had no option but to pay and upgrade.  Adobe is still showing the free plug in, how do I swap it for the paid one that should have all the good stuff.

How do I get it going in Illustrator....I am in a tight work timeline and do not have loads of time for tutorials and digging around

Thank  you for your help getting me up to speed with this!

@ana_1188 since Pantone Connect operates as an extension within Illustrator, you likely don't need to swap out the plug-in itself, but just need to ensure your account is logged in and refreshed to recognize the paid subscription. To get the "Paid version" try this in Illustrator: go to the Window menu, hover over Extensions, and then select Pantone Connect. Once the panel opens, you should see a prompt to Sign In or refresh your account status—log in using the Pantone account where you purchased the upgrade, and this should automatically activate the full library and features within the existing plug-in, finally giving you access to all those essential colors.
